He has completed his education from Shree Damodar College of Commerce and Economics. As a sportsman he has represented the State in Table Tennis and earned laurels in both singles and doubles.After his graduation, he completed his Diamond grading course from the prestigious institution UNIVERSAL DIAMOND GRADING in Zaveri Bazar Mumbai. He returned to Goa in 1998 and took over the reins of the 75 years old Firm M/S. ULHAS JEWELLERS. He is now the MD of M/S Ulhas Jewellers.
He is a member of various reputed trade organizations and bodies connected to the trade, such as The Gems and Jewellery Export Promotion Council, All India Gems & Jewellery Trade Federation, World Gold Council,GJTCI etc. to name a few. He has dedicated himself to bringing BIS standarisation to Goa and has made Ulhas Jewellers the only authenticated BIS Hallmarked store in the state of Goa.
