STUDENTS PARTICPATION IN ONE DAY NATIONAL LEVEL STUDENTS’ SEMINAR
Rosary College of Commerce & Arts organised a one-day National Level Students’ Seminar on the theme Emerging Trends and Challenges in Service Sector on 13th March, 2024 from 8.30 am to 2 pm in the College seminar hall. The objective of this seminar was to provide a platform for students to present their research work on recent trends and challenges in the service sector.
VVM’s Shree Damodar College of Commerce & Economics, deputed 05 students of B. Com Programme with 03 research papers for the competition led by Dr. Shami Pai, B. Com Programme Coordinator.
The students deputed were as under:
Ms Astha Kossambe- Guiding faculty (Dr. Shami Pai). Topic: Exploratory Study on future trends and prospects in sustainable finance in India.
Ms Brionna Noronha & Ms Ruby Mahato- Guiding faculty (Mr Sandesh Gaonkar & Mr Shreyas Dessai). Topic: Teleconsulting in mental health services-adoption and challenges.
Mr Kewell Fernandes & Mr Altaz Khan- Guiding faculty (Mr Sanjay Velip). Topic: Goa’ Hospitality Industry Trends and future prospects.
The competition had 15 teams from the Colleges across Goa and India. Our college team comprising of Ms. Brionna Noronha & Ms Ruby Mahato won first place for the competition.
The students who were deputed were very happy as they got an opportunity to present their research papers. They got valuable inputs from the judges also. The event ended with expressions of appreciation and acknowledgment of the everyone’s efforts who participated and volunteered to make this event a success.
