Participation at Intercollegiate Event “Fiscal Phoenix”

The Department of Economics at Dhempe College of Arts & Science, Miramar, organized an intercollegiate event, Fiscal Phoenix, on 17th and 18th January 2025. Themed “Rise from the Financial Ashes,” the event provided students with a platform to showcase their knowledge, analytical skills, and creativity in economics.

The students actively participated in various competitions and secured top emerged victorious in the following categories:

Paper Presentation – First Place
Miss Ruby Mahato and Miss Shriya Pai won first place for their paper, “Cashless Economy: An Analytical Study of UPI in India”. Their research was recognized for its in-depth analysis, innovation, and alignment with the event’s theme.
Teach Eco – Second Place
Vishal Kubawat secured second place for his engaging and interactive teaching approach, combined with a clear and creative explanation of economic concepts, received high praise from the judges.
Poster Competition – Third Place
Miss Mrunali Chari earned third place for her visually compelling and insightful poster titled “Financial Alchemy – Turning Debt into Gold,” which creatively captured the essence of the theme.

The outstanding performance of our students is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and academic excellence. Their achievements not only bring pride to the institution but also serve as motivation for their peers to pursue excellence in both academics and co-curricular activities.

Assistant Professor Mr. Sanjay Velip coordinated the participation of the students and played a pivotal role in their success through his guidance and support.
