IIP Session-3 on ‘Careers in CFA & FRM’
The PG Department of Commerce (M.Com) in association with the Career and Placement cell of the College organized an IIP Session-3 on the topic ‘Careers in CFA & FRM’ for the M.Com students on 23rd April 2022 from 11:15 to 12.15 pm in Classroom no. 22 (M.Com Building). The Resource Person for the session was Mr. Murrad Beigh, Career Counselor and Co-founder, Finladder.
Asst. Prof. Ms. Abigale Rodrigues, welcomed the Resource Personfollowed by his introduction by Mr. Sarthak Faldesai, a student of M.Com Part-I. Mr. Beigh took over the session by creating awareness about the importance of career planning and the job opportunities open to the students after the completion of their courses. He went on to explain to the students the importance of CFA & FRM in today’s businesses. He also explained the modules and levels to be cleared for each exam and the job opportunities in different sectors worldwide after completion of each module.
By the end of the webinar the Speaker addressed the queries raised by the students with regards to the process of admission to the modules, the age limit and the organizations offering the course and the placement programs offered by them. The students found the session very informative and beneficial. 42 participants attended the session. The session ended at 12:10 pm, with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. Joshila Goes, a student of M.Com Part –I.
