Coaching for Paper I of NET/ SET exam
The Post-Graduate Department of Commerce in association with the Training, Internship and Placement Cell organized NET/SET Coaching in Paper I for the M.Com Part II students every Saturday from 15th July 2023 to 14th October 2023 between 9.00 am to 10.00 am in Classroom T-302. The primary objective of these coaching sessions was to assist M.Com Part II students in their preparation for Paper I of the NET/SET Exam as clearing this exam is a prerequisite for those aspiring to become Assistant Professors in Commerce. The sessions were conducted by faculty members from the P.G. Department of Commerce.
The coaching sessions covered various aspects of Paper I:
Ms. Twinkle Fernandes delivered sessions on Teaching Aptitude and Information & Communication Technology.
Ms. Valencia Baptista covered topics such as Research Aptitude, People, Development, and Environment, Data Interpretation, and Reading Comprehension.
Ms. Edrea Picardo addressed areas such as Communication, Mathematical Reasoning & Aptitude, and the Higher Education System.
Additionally, FYBBA students conducted a session on ‘Logical Reasoning’ for the M.Com Part II students as part of their ISA in ‘Critical Thinking’ course.
The participants showed a strong interest in learning and actively engaged in clearing their doubts regarding the NET/SET Exam and its preparation. These sessions provided a valuable platform for M.Com Part II students to prepare for Paper I of the NET/SET syllabus. 35 M.Com Part II students attended these coaching sessions.
