Inter-collegiate event “Sanskruti” organised by the Dept. of History, Carmel College of Arts, Science and Commerce for Women

Names of the Winners/College Team:

1. Gourav S. Gaounkar, 4th Year B.A.LL.B. student, bagged the first place in the essay writing competition.
2. Ivo D’Costa, 4th Year B.A.LL.B. student, and Kaushik B. Dessai, 4th Year B.A.LL.B. student, won the first place in the quiz competition.
3. Zarina Vaz, 5th Year LL.B.(Hons) and Yashna Luthra, T.Y.B.A.LL.B. student, secured third place in the poster competition

4th Adv. Arun Singbal Memorial Inter Higher Secondary, College and University level Quiz Competition

Names of the Winners/College Team:

Brief Report : Gourav S. Gaounkar and Kaushik B. Dessai represented the college and won the 4th Adv. Arun Singbal Memorial Inter Higher Secondary, College and University level Quiz Competition organised by the Konkani Bhasha Mandal. The Quiz was held in association with Institute Menezes Braganza, Panaji and the Dhempe College of Arts & Science, Panaji.

A total of 43 teams participated in the preliminary round of the Quiz. 12 teams were selected for the semi-finals while 6 teams were selected for the final round. The prizes were awarded at the hands of Shri. Sanjit Rodrigues, Commissioner of the Corporation of the City of Panaji and Managing Director of thr GSIDC.

Mr. Damodar M. Keny emerged winner in the All Goa Inter-Collegiate Elocution Competition

Brief Report: Mr. Damodar M. Keny, 5th Year LL.B. (HONS) student, won the All Goa Inter-Collegiate Elocution Competition organised by the Literary Association of DMC College-Assagao, which was held on the 29th July, 2015.

Inter Collegiate Quiz competition organized by the Goa State Urban Development Agency

Achievement: It is great pleasure to announce that Ivo D’ Costa and Kaushik Dessai representing G.R. Kare College of Law won the first place in the all Goa Inter-Collegiate Quiz competition organized by the Goa State Urban Development Agency with the support of the Union Ministry of Urban Development on the theme of Swachh Bharat Mission. The quiz was held at the Sahakar Sankul at Patto , Goa on 21st July 2015.
