“Body Language”
The FY Certificate Course Committee had organized a session on “Body Language” as a part of Certificate Course in 21st century Life Skills for the students of FY BBA(FS) and FY BBA on 27th October 2022 from 12:15 to 1:30 pm. The Resource Person was Ms. Kanan Tandi, Co-founder of CogniCue, Instructor in Body language and Non-verbal Communication. The objective of the session was to help the students improve their body language and use nonverbal communication, that could help them to connect better with others, and build stronger, more rewarding relationships. A total of 58 students attended the program.
Mr. Sahil Talauliker a student from FY BBA(FS)-A welcomed and introduced the Resource Person. The Resource Person took over the session by explaining about the importance of body language, how body language can help us understand others and ourselves. The speaker elucidated the different features of body language such as facial expressions, posture, proximity, eye contact, voice and gestures with the help of examples. The speaker also provided information about how we can use body language to express emotions or intentions. The Resource Person also spoke about how to improve nonverbal communication that could help us to achieve greater success in life.
The speaker at the end of the session addressed the queries raised by the students. The session ended with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. Nitya Bhat, a student of FY BBA(FS)-A.
