Guest Lecture on Unlocking Efficiency: Navigating the Essentials of E-Accounting
The Department of Management Studies organized a session on E-Accounting Software for FY BBA(FS) students on 26 th March, 2024. The objective was to acquaint students with the practical applications and conceptual understanding of E-Accounting software in contemporary business environments.
The session was led by Mr. William Vaz, Proprietor of Comtech Computer Academy in Margao. The session commenced with an insightful overview of E-Accounting software. Mr. Vaz emphasized its significance in enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making in financial management. The session elucidated various aspects, including the definition and importance of E-Accounting software, its benefits for businesses, and diverse applications in financial management. Furthermore, students gained insights into leading E-Accounting solutions such as QuickBooks, FreshBooks, Sage, Paychex, SAP ERP, and Kashoo. Mr. Vaz provided a detailed explanation of Tally Prime and SAP ERP systems, emphasizing the global significance of SAP ERP in multinational corporations. A practical demonstration of Tally software underscored its real-world applications, enabling students to grasp its functionalities effectively.
The session on E-Accounting software proved highly informative and beneficial for FY BBA(FS) students. Under the guidance of Mr. William Vaz, students gained essential knowledge and practical insights into modern accounting software solutions. This session equipped them with the necessary skills and understanding, preparing them for future endeavours in the field of accounting and finance. 58 students attended the session.
