Participation of NSS Volunteers in National Integration Camps organised in 2021-22
The National Integration Camp (NIC) is organized every year in different parts of the country for a duration of 7 days. The objective of this camp is to make the NSS volunteers aware of the following:
Rich cultural diversity of India
History of our diversified culture
National pride through knowledge about India
To integrate the nation through social service
Volunteers are involved in various activities during the 7 days, such as, Cultural programmes where they showcase culture of their respective states by performing folk dances and songs, attend leadership training sessions, shramdaan activities and get an opportunity to interact with peers from other States across India.
This year, 3 NSS volunteers were selected to represent the State at different National Integration Camps.
Ms. Sita Gupta,volunteer of SY B.Com,was selected to attend the National Integration Camp organised by the Regional Directorate of NSS, Bangalore, at Karnataka University Dharwad, Karnataka from 21st to 27th February, 2022
Ms.Parmesh Chauhan, volunteer of SY B.Com, was selected to attend the National Integration Camp, organised by the Regional Directorate of NSS, Bangalore in collaboration with Gulbarga University, Gulbarga from 3rd to 9th March, 2022 at Gulbarga University Jnana Ganga Campus.
Ms. Roshni Khatun, volunteer of TY B.Com, was selected to attend the National Integration Camp organised by the Regional Directorate of NSS, Bangalore in collaboration with Karnataka State Law University at SDM Law College, Mangalore from 14th to 20th March 2022
